Back when I was a kid, STAR WARS was my main thing for a great many years. I was DARTH VADER for Halloween three years running ('82-'84 maybe?), and my collection of Kenner STAR WARS toys was impressive. While my original collection was sold somewhere around 1988 (which still sucks), I do have one of the vintage 3 3/4 inch Stormtroopers among a small collection that I've re-acquired and have displayed in my office. But for those that want something about 19.2 times larger, the crew at Gentle Giant have the answer... with a life-sized, 6' version of the original action figure. Weird? Yes. But we're talking about a life-size version of a toy that was a miniature version of something that was life-size. Check this out...

st6footThe folks at Entertainment Earth are now taking pre-orders for the STAR WARS Stormtrooper Life-Size Vintage Kenner Monument Action Figure for the low price of just $2,299.99. I am an EE affiliate, so if you're going to buy one, please do so here so I can make a few bucks off the sale and keep my mortgage paid and kids in school (The FTC makes me say that).
