Summer Fun: Playmobil My Secret Play Box Horse Stable (Toy Review)

Written by

When it comes to summer travel with kids, it's pretty certain that there will be some toys along for the ride. With that in mind comes the My Secret Play Box collection by PLAYMOBIL - an assortment of small, self-contained playsets that neatly fold up into lockable boxes. They're portable, fun, and come in styles including a Princess Castle, Police Station, and the one that the folks at Playmobil USA sent us for review - a Horse Stable.

Recommended for Ages 4-10, this 84-piece set packs a lot of fun into a small space. We first put ours together on a rainy day last month, but on sunny days it's perfect for some outdoor fun - but be careful not to lose any of the smaller pieces. With one rider (who my youngest calls "Anna" thanks to her dual braids), one horse, and just about anything you'd need to care for it - food, tools and a whole tack set - there's a lot of inspiration for imagination in such a tiny box.

Over the past month, our Secret Play Box has seen quite a bit of use, and as such, I'm deeming it Rock Father (and daughter) Approved.
