Watch: Spanish STAR WARS REBELS Action Figure Commercial from Hasbro Gets it Right...

Coming from the original STAR WARS generation, I miss the old-school kind of toy commercials - the ones that Kenner did so right back then. Kids playing with the toys in a slightly-elevated reality was the way of those original spots, and with the newer Hasbro figures making a return to 5POA (thats, "five points of articulation") like the toys I grew up with, it's even cooler to see a more vintage approach in commercial form. The first spot to surface for Hasbro's new line of figures and vehicles based on Disney XD's STAR WARS REBELS comes from an unlikely location - Spain. Hopefully the U.S. marketing follows a similar path, as 2015 is gonna be a hell of a year for STAR WARS fans, and I can't wait to see what Hasbro is cooking up!

He's appeared as a music expert on CNN's AC360 alongside Anderson Cooper, and has been interviewed by Larry King. In the past he served as a writer for the Netflix Stream Team,  Fandango Family and PBS KIDS, penned articles for Sprout and PopSugar, and was a contributor to Chicago Parent.
