FREE Exclusive Holiday Train with purchases of $99 or more! For generations, the Advent Calendar has been a fun way for families to have a Christmas countdown - opening a new door each day during the lead-up to Christmas morning. When I was a kid, it was chocolates behind those doors, and for The Rock Daughters, that was the case for their first few Christmases... but last year that changed. Grandma started a new tradition with the purchase of a pair of LEGO Advent Calendars (it was LEGO City & Friends in '14), and that's continuing this year with a LEGO STAR WARS Advent Calendar and a LEGO City Advent Calendar - both of which have already been ordered by Grandma, and have arrived to be safely stashed until December 1st. Knowing that these tend to sell out very early, I'm including these as a featured pick in my 2015 Holiday Wish Guide, alongside some other seasonally-appropriate LEGO fun!
