MARVEL's GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY seemingly came from out of nowhere to become one of the most popular entries into the MARVEL Cinematic Universe when James Gunn's feature film hit theaters last year. Families fell in love with the crew of the Milano - Peter "Star-Lord" Quill, Gamora, Drax the Destroyer, Groot and Rocket Raccoon - and that excitement has led to the launch of a new animated series that's currently airing on Disney XD. Spinning things back a little further to the source material (comics!) is the Entertainment Earth-Exclusive GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Comic Edition Marvel Legends Action Figure Set by Hasbro. Available now, this fantastic set is a featured pick in my 2015 Holiday Wish Guide here on THE ROCK FATHER Magazine.

Entertainment Earth - GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY - Entertainment Earth Exclusive! This incredible set of action figures is recommended for ages 6+, but it's perfect for play or collectibility. All five members of the team are here in the detail and articulation you'd expect from Hasbro's 6-inch MARVEL Legends line, with the first-ever Comic Book version of Groot standing 8" tall! There's even a bonus, to-scale potted Baby Groot! And, as Entertainment Earth points out,  "the fifth-panel display box lets you see all your figures and gear without having to open the box" - which is cool and all, but if you want to have some real fun, you need to crack that box open! The box alone measures 15-inches tall x 13-inches long x 3-inches wide, and inside you'll find an incredible amount of weapons and accessories - complete with alternate heads and hands for certain characters - perfect for switching things up.

He might not have the orange suit or the voice of Bradley Cooper, but look at how adorable young Rocket Raccoon looks carrying a potted Baby Groot!

Rocket Raccoon!
