This weekend, audiences everywhere have begun discovering Walt Disney Animation Studios' 56th animated feature, MOANA, turning out in record numbers for a big adventure unlike any other. With buzz that began long before the film's release, items from Moana have quickly become must-have gifts for the holiday season, and for kids and collectors alike, a variety of new figures from Funko have taken a spot in my 2016 Holiday Wish Guide, sponsored by Entertainment Earth

About Disney's MOANA: Three thousand years ago, the greatest sailors in the world voyaged across the vast Pacific, discovering the many islands of Oceania. But then, for a millennium, their voyages stopped – and no one knows exactly why. From Walt Disney Animation Studios comes “Moana,” a sweeping, CG-animated feature film about an adventurous teenager who sails out on a daring mission to save her people. During her journey, Moana (voice of Auli‘i Cravalho) meets the mighty demigod Maui (voice of Dwayne Johnson), who guides her in her quest to become a master wayfinder. Together, they sail across the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous monsters and impossible odds, and along the way, Moana fulfills the ancient quest of her ancestors and discovers the one thing she’s always sought: her own identity. Directed by the renowned filmmaking team of Ron Clements and John Musker (“The Little Mermaid,” “Aladdin,” “The Princess & the Frog”), produced by Osnat Shurer (“Lifted,” “One Man Band”), and featuring music by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Mark Mancina and Opetaia Foa‘i, “Moana” is in theaters now.

Moana Funko Pop! Vinyls

When it comes to cool collectibles, Funko ranks among the top when it comes to selection and style - there's something for everyone. Here at Rock Father HQ, it's their flagship Pop! Vinyl figures and bobbleheads that are the big hit, and between myself (Star Wars), my wife (Harry Potter) and The Rock Daughters™ (a little of everything), we've been accumulating a pretty sizable collection. Right off the bat, the MOANA figures have been a huge hit - and they have been for Entertainment Earth as well, with some styles already sold-out until January!

Moana Funko Dorbz

In addition to the Pop! Vinyls, there's also a pair of Dorbz (indeed, adorable) and some Pocket Pop! key chains... which the girls have already attached to their backpacks. The question, of course is... would you like to win a set?
