#AlienDay: PPW Toys Reveals ALIEN vs. PREDATOR Mr. Potato Head PopTaters...

Written by

It seems that every day is [INSERT NAME HERE] DAY, and today is a day that I can get behind... #AlienDay! Indeed, today is a global celebration of the franchise launched with the 1979 release of Ridley Scott's Alien, and continuing on May 19 with the release of his latest film, Alien: Covenant. Now comes some news from my friends at PPW Toys that they're bringing the famed Xenomorph into an all-new form... that of Mr. Potato Head. But the Alien won't be alone, as Predator (or is that, Pred-tater?) will be in the PopTater mix as well, allowing toy fans of all ages to have a mighty Alien vs. Predator battle to see who ends up fried. Additionally, Ripley and the crew are also getting a set of Wooden Nesting Dolls as well! Check these out...

Alien MPH Side Shot 700x700

Horrifying meets cute in this mash-up as Mr. Potato Head pays tribute one of the most iconic and terrifying film series in history: Alien.  As the titular character, “The Alien”, this amazing collectible toy stands 6" tall and includes all the exoskeletal details of the nightmare creature, including the classic "two mouths” and spiked tail!

Predator MPH beauty shot 700x700

Mr. Potato Head becomes the ultimate, intergalactic hunter: The Predator!  This collectible-toy stands over 6" tall and is amazingly detailed with elements from the 1987 classic film.  With removable parts and pieces, including the infamous hunting helmet and wrist blades, this “Pred-Tater" is a must-have for collectors and fans, whether used to play or display!

Alien Nesting Dolls 700x700

Introducing the Alien Wood Nesting Dolls Set.  The first in our Artist-Series of Nesting Dolls being released by PPW Toys, featuring the artwork of Andrew Stattmiller. Five dolls are included in the line-up representing characters and iconic scenes from the classic 1979 film Alien.  From smallest to largest the dolls come complete with an egg, a face-hugger, chest-burster, Ripley and finally the fully-grown Xenomorph.  Made of real wood, this set is a must-have for collectors and fans!

All of these are up for pre-order now and are expected to ship in August.
