Paramount Pictures' AMUSEMENT PARK Will Spawn a Full Line of Toys...

Written by

Paramount Pictures is currently in-production on AMUSEMENT PARK, a 3D computer animated adventure comedy film set to be released on March 15, 2019. Produced by Paramount Animation, Nickelodeon Movies and Ilion Animation Studios, there hasn't been a ton of information released about the project since it's original announcement a few years back, sans the casting of Matthew Broderick, Jennifer Garner, Jeffrey Tambor, Kenan Thompson, Ken Jeong, Mila Kunis, and John Oliver, all of whom will lend their voice talents to the film under the direction of Dylan Brown. Today comes news that Paramount is confident that AMUSEMENT PARK will be a big hit, with the announcement of a full line of toys to support both the film, and its already-in-production spinoff television series that's headed for Nickelodeon.

Funrise Toys will take the helm as master licensee, promising a full range of action figures, playsets, plush, roleplay and more.

"We are excited to add Amusement Park to Funrise's growing portfolio of licensed brands. With our innovative product development team and vertical manufacturing capabilities, we will bring the fantastic Amusement Park story and characters to life in a unique way," said King Cheng, Chief Executive Officer of Funrise, Inc. in a press release. "Together with the Paramount team, we will create a dynamic and engaging play experience for what will surely be an iconic franchise for years to come."

"We are thrilled that Funrise is on board for what is bound to be an exciting ride," added Bil Bertini, Executive Vice President Worldwide Licensing for Paramount Pictures. "Amusement Park's lovable characters, exhilarating attractions and boundless creativity are a perfect fit for the wide-ranging toy line that Funrise will develop.  We look forward to announcing additional partners in the coming months."

Funrise currently can be found in toy aisles with TONKA (under license from Hasbro), GAZILLION Bubbles, LUNA PETUNIA, SPACE RACERS and SUNNY BUNNIE. They are also co-production partner and toy creator for the upcoming TV series RAINBOW BUTTERFLY UNICORN KITTY™

Stay tuned for more on AMUSEMENT PARK as I have it!
