MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE may be hibernating for now (I seem to think they'll rise once more somewhere down the line), but that doesn't mean that the spirit isn't alive in other places. For new parents wishing to introduce the music of Gerard Way and the gang to those future rockers while they're still in the crib, the crew over at Roma Music Group have assembled the perfect collection to do just that. Twinkle Twinkle Little Rock Star - LULLABY VERSIONS OF MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE, will hit digital retailers on May 12, presenting nursery-friendly versions of a dozen MCR hits and fan favorites. THE ROCK FATHER has your first-listen to the lullaby version of "Welcome to the Black Parade," the album opener, and a track available right now as an instant download with iTunes pre-orders of the album. Check it out below.

With the recent release of Walt Disney Animation Studios' Academy Award-winning mega-hit, FROZEN, on Blu-ray and DVD, you'd think that we'd be done talking about the land of Arendelle for a bit, unless there was some news about FROZEN 2, right? Well, not quite, as the spirit and music of this cultural phenomenon continues to inspire and evolve, and now the folks at Roma Music Group are prepping to pay tribute by re-working the now-iconic soundtrack for the youngest Olaf fans in your house. LULLABY VERSIONS OF FROZEN will hit Digital Retailers on April 29th, the latest release in the popular, and fast-growing Twinkle Twinkle Little Rock Star collection of pop culture lullabies. How does the lullaby version of "Let It Go" compare to the version made famous by Idina Menzel? Find out below...

My wife watches KEEPING UP WITH THE KARDASHIANS. I don't like the show... but I do like Kanye West. It makes me feel very conflicted at times, and that said, I feel weird that I'm sharing Kardashian news here on THE ROCK FATHER... but it fits. Beginning March 15, Babies 'R' Us will be the exclusive retailer for KARDASHIAN KIDS, a new line of clothing for girls up to 24 months with items ranging in price from $15-$30. My first reaction is that it seems weird to limit a line called "kids" to just girls - and to further limit it by only going birth-24 months, but some of the samples look cute, so who knows? Perhaps it will expand as the real-life Kardashian Kids get older. Personally, I really like the outfit worn by the girl below right...

When people find out that I'm an at-home Dad, there's often an image that comes to mind that is not quite accurate, and is largely fueled by the "TV depiction" of stay-at-home and work-at-home Dads: A group of four or five guys standing around a park with outward-facing babies dangling from their chests. If this happens anywhere, I have not witnessed it, nor been a part of such a gathering in the past 4+ years of my career as a parent. When I have seen babies worn by other parents (and sometimes myself), the big question has always been "which way is the right way - inward or outward." It's been the subject of vigorous debate among parents, but the folks at Boba Family just might have the answer, and that answer is inward.
