Why did I not think of this a few years ago? I mean, I was actually on the set of BATMAN BEGINS back in 2004 and stuck my head inside the Tumbler for a few... but that was in my pre-parenting days, and the thought of crafting a baby stroller based upon Christopher Nolan's vision of The Batmobile didn't even cross my mind. But for one lucky Bat-fan, his little Caped Crusader is riding in-style thanks to the Hollywood FX crew behind SUPER-FAN BUILDS. On this week's show, they've taken an Evenflo car seat and surrounded it by all the Tumbler goodness that one would need for fighting thugs in Lil' Gotham. Check this out...

If you're getting ready to raise a baby rocker, there's a couple of new collections of music out this week that you might want to take a look at. The folks at Roma Music Group have just unleashed two volumes of their popular Twinkle Twinkle Little Rock Star series - LULLABY VERSIONS OF STAIND and LULLABY VERSIONS OF DAUGHTRY - each transforming the respective artist's hits into instrumental jams for baby. Check out the full details, along with streams of the lullaby versions of "It's Been Awhile" and "Waiting For Superman" below, right here on THE ROCK FATHER...

With the New Year upon us, my friends at Roma Music Group have wasted no time in getting back into the swing of things with some new music for babies... that rock. Out this week from their massive TWINKLE TWINKLE LITTLE ROCK STAR line is LULLABY VERSIONS OF MEGADETH, a twelve-song set of metal classics from Dave Mustaine and the boys, all re-worked into soothing instrumental jams for your youngest little thrashers. Word on the street is that PAPA ROACH and STAIND are getting the lullaby treatment pretty soon as well, but in the meantime, check out the full tracklisting for this one, along with a stream of "Symphony of Destruction" below, right here on THE ROCK FATHER!

If you're like us, your house is probably loaded with toys from Fisher-Price. Coming out of Christmas, our girls (particularly Little Finley, whose favorite toys are Little People) have some new Fisher-Price toys to help fuel imaginative and adventure play, including the full run of the Magic of Disney collection, and the "Grand Finale" of the day - the FROZEN Power Wheels Ford Mustang. While my wife and I grew up on Fisher-Price toys ourselves (I still have my "Jolly Jalopy" from the 70s), our daughters' collection started at birth, and in that spirit comes a new short film from Fisher-Price called WISHES FOR BABY. Filmed in the earliest hours of 2015 and released within 24 hours, the film shows real parents in the US, Japan, Mexico, Brazil, Kenya, Bangladesh, and Poland as they hold their babies for the very first time, "showing that the best possible start in life begins with love." Check it out below...
