Disney Channel is ready to Just Roll With It. The creative team behind Disney XD's Walk the Prank is back with a new multi-camera sitcom that they're calling "the first-of-its-kind" - "a hybrid of a scripted family comedy and an improvisational comedy, in which the studio audience members select the outcome of certain scenes while the cast just rolls with it." From co-showrunners Adam Small and Trevor Moore, the series just got the greenlight and is in production now.

This past weekend, Marvel Rising hit the scene in a big way with the feature-length Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors airing on Disney Channel and Disney XD, following the successful Marvel Rising: Initiation shorts and being joined by a companion line of new merchandise and toys from Hasbro. With fans already clamoring for more, Marvel Entertainment announced two new animated specials Marvel Rising: Chasing Ghosts and Marvel Rising: Heart of Iron. But that's not all... news is coming in from New York Comic-Con (NYCC) that Marvel Rising will be coming to comic books in 2019. Having seen how quickly The Rock Daughters™ have connected with it, I think all new Disney projects need to launch alongside a pop song from Dove Cameron (my girls just keep singing "Born Ready")...

With the premiere of Star Wars Resistance fast-approaching, the promotional efforts are growing, and that means some fresh new looks for fans. Today comes a brand-new extended sneak-preview from the team at Lucasfilm, and this one delivers our first look at some fan-favorite characters and some familiar locations. If that isn't Bossk and Salacious Crumb in there (and it probably isn't since I'm pretty sure they both perished on Jabba's Sail Barge), it's certainly great to see their species back in the mix as well. Star Wars Resistance debuts Sunday, October 7th on Disney Channel (10 p.m. ET/PT) along with DisneyNOW and VOD, allowing families to watch wherever and whenever they'd like.
