When it comes to video gaming, I still have not yet entered the "Next Generation," which is technically already here. I've also not yet played DISNEY INFINITY, despite covering news on it for over a year at this point - but the upcoming release of DISNEY INFINITY: MARVEL SUPER HEROES (2.0 Edition) just might be the push I need. But then there's conflict since I've long been a loyalist to the Microsoft XBOX 360, but Sony's PS4 is looking more and more appealing with the news that landed here at Rock Father HQ this evening: Disney and Sony have teamed up for a Collector's Edition for both PS4 and PS3, and a hardware bundle for the PS3 (not sure why they wouldn't go PS4 on that, though). Check out the trailer and specs...

The folks over at Disney Interactive just hit The Rock Father with new details on the forthcoming launch of their multi-platform game, DISNEY INFINITY. Today brings an inside look at the PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN Play Set. Pirates of the Caribbean is included with the Disney INFINITY Starter Pack (out August 18) along with MONSTERS UNIVERSITY and THE INCREDIBLES. Check out the new goods below...

Disney INFINITY looks dangerously cool. I say dangerously, because there's some time and money to be invested here, and I have a feeling that it could become a fixture here at Rock Father HQ this summer. Yesterday, the folks at Disney Interactive hit me with all the details on the fourth play set for Disney INFINITY, one based on the world of CARS. Need I say that Addie will probably love this?

When the news officially hit this afternoon that Disney Interactive and Avalanche Software would be entering the cross-platform realm currently dominated by SKYLANDERS with the launch of Disney INFINITY this summer, I jumped on that trailer immediately. My first reaction? This multi-platform adventure looks FANTASTIC. My second reaction? Buying all the physical figures to intermix with the digital world looks EXPENSIVE.
