I'll be sad when my girls eventually outgrow their Fisher-Price Little People. I figure that I've got at least 4-5 years left since the baby is just about to start getting into them, but Little People have come a long way since I had them growing up. Now, they've even got seasonal exclusives for nearly every Holiday or special occasion. In fact, I've already got a Christmas-themed "Tree Lighting in Discovery Park" purchased and tucked away for Finley to receive in December... I like to plan ahead. Now, with St. Patrick's Day coming up (March 17, 2013) and Easter hitting early this year (March 31, 2013), Fisher-Price has some cute exclusives perfect for Spring play. Check these out...

On March 13, NICK LACHEY will digitally release A FATHER'S LULLABY, his first foray into the family music realm. The album will see a physical release in April, with CDs to be made available at Toys "R" Us, Target, and Walmart and more though Mattel subsidiary Fisher-Price, in association with Mood Entertainment. Full details on the new record arrived here at Rock Father HQ today, and I've got it all for you below, along with some adorable cover art.

When I was a kid, my parents got me a Fisher-Price Camera that was manufactured by Kodak and took real 110 film. I remember that camera being built really well, with a protective coating and rubber corner bumpers to protect it from the inevitable drops to the floor it would receive over the years. In 1984, it was a big deal to take pictures, have to take the film to get developed, and then wait a week or more to see the results. Fast-forward nearly 30 years, and my daughter now has her own Fisher-Price camera, albeit a digital device that allows unlimited photo-taking with instant results.

Fisher PriceI didn't realize it until after the fact, but our kids received a lot of Fisher-Price toys for Christmas this year. I bought quite a few myself, including some from the "Laugh & Learn" line, which has been a staple here at Rock Father HQ for the past 3+ years. Now, Fisher-Price is bringing some serious tech to their "Laugh & Learn" toys with their expanding line of Apptivity products.
