While you won't find me at New York Comic-Con (NYCC) this weekend, you can certainly find some awesome toys and collectibles being offered by my friends at Funko and Entertainment Earth. One very much-anticipated item is the Funko / Entertainment Earth Convention Exclusive Classic Spider-Woman Pop! Vinyl Figure. First announced on the official Funko blog last month, Spider-Woman joins the Funko family TODAY and is available in super-limited quantities only at Funko's booth at New York Comic-Con or online through Entertainment Earth! These are in the EE warehouse and ready to ship next week, and although I'm not at NYCC, somehow Spider-Woman made her way to me. Check out this first hands-on look!

There's been a revival of late when it comes to play, with retro being all the rage. Mego is back in Target, the Transformers are taking on their G1 look in Bumblebee and between Super 7 and Funko, the chunky, 5.5" action figures from the era of He-Man and The Masters of the Universe have been making a comeback. For the latter, Funko's Savage World has been a big deal - most recently presenting both Horror Icons and Thundercats in the beefy style. Today things get weird, with the confirmation of some rumors from a few months back as Funko, DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Consumer Products have announced the launch of DC Primal Age - a full collection of toys featuring retro-style barbarian fantasy-themed Super Heroes and Super-Villains from the DC universe. The inaugural line will be available for purchase starting October 5, 2018 on Amazon.com through a dedicated DC Primal Age storefront.

Following today's big reveal of the much-anticipated launch of Funko's new line of FORTNITE Pop! Vinyl figures comes a quick follow-up on retailer exclusives. Following the recent trend of Holiday Funko Pops, a trio of characters decked-out in seasonal flair will be hitting stores in time for the holidays. The Red-Nosed Raider will be available only at GameStop (pre-order), with the Crackshot nutcracker (throwing up the horns!) headed for Walmart and Codename E.L.F. only at Target. Let the hunt begin!

The Battle Royale just saw another major player drop from the bus, with Funko unleashing a huge assortment of their much-anticipated FORTNITE Pop! Vinyl Figures! Created in collaboration with Epic Games, these colorful characters arrive just in time for the holiday season, making them a perfect gift for the gamer or collector on your shopping list. My friends at Entertainment Earth (affiliate) just opened pre-orders for a full range of figures, each of which is listed below. Put them on a shelf or use them to act-out real-life battles on your desk or floor, just avoid the storm!

DIE HARD: Now They Have Pop Vinyls, Ho-Ho-Ho!

Let's make something very clear right now: DIE HARD  is a Christmas movie. Same goes for its first sequel, DIE HARD 2: DIE HARDER. There is no debate, period. With that in mind, it's exciting that Funko and 20th Century Fox have teamed-up for a new collection of Pop! Vinyl figures. Available for pre-order via my affiliates, Entertainment Earth and GameStop, there's John McClane (Bruce Willis), Hans Gruber (Alan Rickman), Sgt. Al Powell (Reginald VelJohnson) and Tony Vreski (Andreas Wisniewski), along with a GameStop-exclusive version of Hans rockin' his long coat. A pick for my 2018 Holiday Wish Guide, these figures would make the perfect gift for the action lover on your list. Now can we get Argyle and Ellis? If you want these, you better order them now!

Mickey Mouse is timeless, and as the iconic mouse prepares to celebrate his 90th birthday this November, a fantastic array of new products and collectibles keep rolling out. Funko has been rolling out a ton of items created in collaboration with the team at Disney Consumer Products, and one of the latest reveals is an exclusive with my friends at GameStop (affiliate). The Gamer Mickey Funko Pop! Vinyl Figure will hit stores on October 13th, presenting the main mouse in a familiar form for anyone who's ever spent some time playing console games online. With his backward baseball cap, gaming headset and controller in-hand, he's ready to rock! So what would Mickey be playing... Kingdom Hearts, perhaps?
