I've owned a lot of NERF blasters over the years, and right now we have an arsenal of decent size here at Rock Father HQ. Still, I can't think of a time when I've specifically looked at a NERF blaster and thought: "that is beautiful." That changed today, when my friends at Hasbro sent over details on their NERF Rival Star Wars Battlefront Apollo XV-700 Blaster and Face Mask Set. The special edition Mandalorian set will be available exclusively at Gamestop this spring, and comes decked-out in a full Boba Fett color scheme, ripped straight from EA's STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT!

After some early details leaked a few days ago, those attending EA has officially dropped the curtain on Star Wars Battlefront II, making the reveal at Star Wars Celebration Orlando. Personally, I just started playing the first Battlefront last month (late to the Xbox One party), but after seeing what's coming down the road, I can't wait to get my hands on Battlefront II. Not only does the game pack a ton of action from "all eras of Star Wars," but there's a new story to be told, with a new type of trooper at the center of it - the Inferno Squadron Pilot. Hasbro will release a Star Wars The Black Series Inferno Squadron Pilot as a Gamestop Exclusive along with the release of the game for Xbox One and Playstation 4. See details on everything below!

If you listen very closely in the distance, you just might be able to hear the faint sound of sleigh bells headed in your direction. As the Holiday season moves toward it's thrilling conclusion with the arrival of Christmas on December 25th, millions of gift-givers are still seeking that perfect item for that special someone - and there's still plenty of time to get something cool, and at a cool price, too. My friends at GameStop are blazing toward Christmas with new markdowns and specials on some of the hottest games of the season, and they're also are great stop for some fun stocking stuffers - like Funko Pop! Vinyls, a few of which I picked up at our local GameStop just the other night. With last-minute convenience in mind, I'm giving you a few picks that are available now at GameStop - but that's not all! You could win a $50 GameStop Gift Card good for a little after-Christmas shopping! Ready to be a Holiday Hero?

I'm having a bit of a flashback. It was the Holiday season of 2007 that Harmonix released their original ROCK BAND game, and it was that very title that led to my wife buying me an Xbox 360. Fast-forward to 2015, and ROCK BAND 4 is on the way, and I really want an Xbox One for Xmas - especially since Microsoft just unveiled the Xbox One Elite Bundle, which is now available for pre-order exclusively at Gamestop and MicrosoftStore.com with a release date of November 3rd. While the system will be available globally, if you want the bundle, those are the stores you need to visit. Here's the details...

With just a few weeks left until Christmas, the window of time to search for that perfect gift is getting smaller and smaller. For those that have a gamer to buy for, there's some great options that I've featured here on the site over the past year - big hits like Disney Infinity 2.0 and CALL OF DUTY: ADVANCED WARFARE. But those are just the tip of the iceberg, and when it comes to gaming, your local GameStop store has a ton of great deals and new releases for every member of the family, from "big" gifts like a new XBOX One or Playstation 4, to stocking stuffers like the latest figures from Skylanders Trap Team. Now, GameStop and THE ROCK FATHER have teamed-up to highlight some great picks from the GameStop Holiday Hub in this Gaming Special Edition entry into my 2014 Holiday Wish Guide!

Pop-Up stores are becoming much more commonplace these days, and for the holidays, GameStop is getting in on the action. The video game retailer is launching 80 GameStop Kids locations (click here for the full list) across the U.S. featuring an assortment of this season’s "most sought after video games and accessories, video game licensed products, popular toy brands and collectibles."
