The American International Toy Fair will begin this weekend in New York, and while The Rock Father won't be there in-person (maybe next year), the news continues rolling in here at Rock Father HQ. HASBRO will be rolling out a ton of new toys this weekend, and this morning I've got a preview of new offerings for kids of all-ages. With iconic brands like TRANSFORMERS, MY LITTLE PONY, STAR WARS, G.I. JOE, PLAY-DOH, FURBY, BABY ALIVE, TWISTER, and ANGRY BIRDS represented, there's a little something for everyone. Check out some highlights below.
With Fall upon us bringing shorter days and longer nights, the time is ripe for bringing some classic games back into play. That said, the folks at HASBRO GAMES hit The Rock Father with details on some special savings on games including MONOPOLY, SCRABBLE, CLUE, OPERATION, BATTLESHIP, and more! These are printable coupons that can be redeemed at your favorite store through September 9.
Last month, Hasbro Games invited Addie and I to check out their new ELEFUN SNACKIN' SAFARI, the latest addition to their Elefun & Friends Line. Since the little one is already a big fan of the original Elefun (where you catch little butterflies), we couldn't resist another adventure with the big blue pachyderm.
Family Game Night is certainly something that I support here at The Rock Father, and as such, I'm always interested in checking out the latest in what Hasbro Games has to offer. One of their latest releases for the 3 and up set is the ELEFUN SNACKIN' SAFARI from their ELEFUN & FRIENDS line. While we haven't gotten a chance to give this a play-test ourselves (a review is forthcoming), Hasbro Games and The Rock Father are going to hook one lucky reader up with an ELEFUN SNACKIN' SAFARI to enjoy with their own family. Enter for your chance using the Rafflecopter Widget below...
Hasbro Games' new bop it! SMASH is hitting retail this month, and to celebrate they've teamed up with The Rock Father to give one lucky reader one of these cool new games. If you're not familiar with bop it! SMASH, check out my recent review of the game here, or check out the official details below.
It's been a long time since I played the original bop it! game. Come to think of it, that was probably over 15 years ago, and to think of all the things that have happened since then is just mind-boggling. But here we are in 2012 and the bop it! has evolved over time - spawning numerous off-shoots and reimaginings, the latest of which is the bop it! SMASH. Shipping to retail as I type, the new game leans heavy on the 'SMASH,' while leaving the 'BOP' behind.
