When it comes to the breakout toys of 2017, Fidget Spinners are serious business. What started as one thing expanded into an entire category of Fidgets - divisive as to whether they're toys, tools or just a fad that will eventually go the way of the Pog. For now, they're still hot, and the folks at Zuru Toys have some of the highest-quality offerings out there, and they recently sent us some for review. Bringing iconic superheroes into the mix, they've licensed characters from DC Comics and Marvel, bringing them together for a colorful collection of Fidget Spinners and Fidget Cubes - the original Fidget Cubes as developed by Antsy Labs!

You may have seen me post about Zuru Toys' Bunch O Balloons earlier this year - most likely on my social networks, or when I co-hosted a twitter party for them with The Toy Insider. Realizing I hadn't given them a proper feature here on the site from my hands-on experience, it's time to throw down a few words about the water balloons that have been famously touted for the ability to "fill and tie 100 balloons in 60 seconds." Quite simply: they absolutely work.

What happens when World of Dance meets Bunch O Balloons? With Zuru Toys' easy-to-use and water balloons already being a huge hit here at Rock Father HQ, the prospect is intriguing, and the answer to the question has been revealed in a new video presenting the first-ever #SplashMob! In Los Angeles, NBC World of Dance contestant and So You Think You Can Dance winner, Fik-Shun recently surprised unsuspecting pool party goers with an epic Splash Mob performance attended by over 50 World of Dance performers, including Autumn Miller (Spring Sisters World of Dance), the Miniotics Dance Crew (America’s Got Talent Season 11), Hall of Fame Dance Team and Soul Fresh to name a few. Captured using twelve cameras and more than 5,000 self-tying Bunch O Balloon water balloons, the video evidence was released today and can be seen below, right here on THE ROCK FATHER™ Magazine!

Disney•Pixar's FINDING DORY has been swimming into theaters this week, winning the hearts of families with record-breaking crowds turning out for the long-awaited sequel to FINDING NEMO. As with most great cinematic family adventures, kids want to continue the story at home, and as such the folks at Zuru Toys have released a new line of FINDING DORY Robo Fish (reviewed here), including the Coffee Pot Playset. To celebrate the new film, THE ROCK FATHER Magazine and Zuru Toys are giving readers a chance to win the Coffee Pot Playset, which includes a special, water-activated Dory inside said coffee pot.

With Disney•Pixar's FINDING DORY making its way into theaters, the folks at Zuru Toys have a full assortment of fun items from the long-awaited FINDING NEMO sequel swimming into toy stores and toy departments. Among the ones that will be at the top of many kids' wish lists this summer are the FINDING DORY Robo Fish - robotic fish with lifelike action, just as the name implies. Having already been familiar with some of Zuru's aquatic offerings over the years, we were excited when a trio of Robo Fish - Swimming Nemo, Swimming Marlin, and of course, Swimming Dory - arrived at Rock Father HQ for review in our State-of-the-Art Toy Testing Facility™ (in this case, our bathtub) by yours truly, and The Rock Daughters™. With something this unique, words only go so far, so we made a little video... taking the camera underwater to show you these things up-close and in-action! Take a look...

Within the past couple of years, the "blind" toy craze has been picking up steam. From blind bags and blind boxes, to mystery eggs, surprise eggs and now capsules, there's something for just about interest, and the latest toymaker to get in on the action is ZURU Toys. With licenses from Disney, the first ones to hit retail were the Disney FROZEN Capsules back in January, and the next batch that's shipping now are based some heavy-hitters from MARVEL - Ultimate Spider-man and Avengers Assemble. This is the first time I've ever received a shipment of toys direct from the factory in China, so I actually had to go to FedEx to pick them up - their arrival being a complete mystery to me as well (I had no idea they were coming). What was inside? Let's take a look at the MARVEL Capsules Assortment...
