When it comes to imaginative play, my friends at The Step2 Company are always on top of the game in coming up with new ways to expand the horizons of children. For 2017, one of the most unique new offerings is the All Around Playtime Patio with Canopy™, a new style of kid's playhouse that's wheelchair accessible, and exceptionally spacious in combining multiple play options into one affordable package. To celebrate the coming of warmer weather and getting kids back outside, The Rock Father™ and Step2 have teamed-up once again, and we're giving you the chance to win one of these for your yard! It's Made in the USA (Ohio!) of US and imported parts. Check it out...

While New York Toy Fair is still a few weeks off, the action is heating up at the Spielwarenmesse Toy Fair in Nuremburg, Germany right now. Some big news comes from my friends at The Step2 Company, who have finally dropped the curtain on their latest collaboration - one with British luxury Sports and Supercar manufacturer McLaren Automotive to launch the officially licensed Step2® McLaren 570S Push Sports Car, a toddler-sized push car version of the McLaren 570S sports car. While the grownup version of the McLaren 570S will set you back around $185,000, the Step2 version will only run $79.99.

It's a crisp 5° here at Rock Father HQ as I write this, but it's never too early to be thinking about spring (and summer) while the dead of winter continues to set in. A new year means new toys, and 2017 is already shaping up to be a big one - and we haven't even hit Toy Fair yet! One of the first items to become available is the PAW Patrol Water Table by The Step2 Company. Produced under license from Spin Master, this new table brings the excitement of Adventure Bay into the water play realm, complete with fun action features and a trio of included characters from the hit Nick Jr. series - Marshall, Skye and Zuma! The second PAW Patrol item from Step2 following the excellent Lookout Climber (reviewed here), to get a new year of toys kicked off right, Step2 and The Rock Father have teamed up to give readers a chance to win one of these great water tables for your house!

When it comes to play kitchens, The Step2 Company has been the go-to source for fun and innovated models for years. This year they upped the game, releasing the modern Grand Luxe Kitchen to the assortment, but they've also done something completely different... and it's inspired by the sewers of New York City. The TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES Pizza Kitchen is the kind of pizzeria that Michelangelo, Leonardo, Donatello and Raphael would consider totally rad! There's a pizza oven, a "pop" (or "soda," depending on where you live) machine, electronic stove top burner, mini-fridge and more - along with all the accessories a kid could possibly need to serve up some TMNT-style pie. As a featured pick in my 2016 Holiday Wish Guide here on THE ROCK FATHER Magazine, I've teamed up with my friends at Step2 to give you a shot at winning one!

When it comes to sweet rides, Mattel's Hot Wheels brand is iconic - providing kids with countless hours of high-octane fun on the orange track since 1968. Like myself and the kids of many generations before, The Rock Daughters™ are well-versed in orange track adventures, often building elaborate course layouts anchored by Epic playsets like the incredible Hot Wheels Ultimate Garage. This year there's something new in the mix, and it comes to us from The Step2 Company, who under license from Mattel has created the Hot Wheels Car & Track Play Table. Available now as a Toys "R" Us Exclusive, this Play Table puts an automotive spin on Step2's famous Train Tables, re-working the play environment into signature Hot Wheels orange and blue, with a self-contained play space that kids absolutely love. As a featured pick in my 2016 Holiday Wish Guide here on THE ROCK FATHER Magazine, I'm thrilled to give you a chance to win one, presented in partnership with Step2!

Earlier this Fall, I shared with you my review of the PAW Patrol Lookout Climber from The Step2 Company. Living in a house where the Pups of Adventure Bay tend to dominate play, I was pretty excited to learn that Step2 had partnered with Spin Master for this piece. No doubt the biggest PAW Patrol toy made thus far, and one in which kids can put themselves directly into the famed Lookout - the base of operations for Ryder and the Pups, this climber is recommended for kids ages 1½-5, and is available now as a Toys "R" Us Exclusive. I'd pegged this as an early pick for my 2016 Holiday Wish Guide back in September, and now I'm excited to give you a chance to win one! The Step2 Company and THE ROCK FATHER Magazine have teamed-up for a Holiday Wish Guide Giveaway in which one lucky family will receive the PAW Patrol Lookout Climber!
