The HISTORY Channel is unboxing a ton of toy-related content this holiday season, and one show features a familiar guest star.

James Zahn aka “The Rock Father” — Deputy Editor of The Toy Book and Senior Editor of The Toy Insider and The Pop Insider — is appearing on two episodes of HISTORY’s long-running series, Modern Marvels.

Modern Marvels: Toys & Games follows the Sunday night premiere of The Toys That Built America, a 4-part docuseries that blends dramatic reenactments with archival footage and interviews with experts to explore the history behind iconic toys. The Toys That Built America debuts Nov. 28 at 9 p.m. ET with Masters of Invention.

And, if that wasn’t enough toy content for you, HISTORY will unwrap The Toys That Built America: Snack Sized on December 12. Get those DVRs set, as you won’t want to miss these shows!

Word on the street is that some of Zahn’s Adventure Media and Events colleagues — including Chief Toy Officer Laurie Schacht and Group Publisher Jackie Breyer —  will also be making appearances on HISTORY’s robust, toy-centric slate in the weeks ahead.
