The following message arrived at Rock Father HQ this morning regarding news that's been circulating since yesterday:

"LAMB OF GOD management will be issuing an official statement on Monday regarding the charges made against singer Randy Blythe. As no formal charges have yet been made and the case is only in the investigation stages, it would be premature to make an official statement filled with false truths or innuendos.

While we're still on baby watch here at Rock Father HQ, Colorado-based ARCANIUM have just released their official lyric video for the song ''Blind Sided,'' and it was edited/chopped together by yours truly. Lately, I've been helping some bands create cost-effective lyric videos and album trailers, and I prefer working with up-and-comers. Check out this new clip below, then give ARCANIUM a 'Like' over on Facebook.  The band is currently seeking a label home for their new album, ONTOGENESIS.

It's only Tuesday, yet still a fair amount of music news has been hitting my inbox here at Rock Father HQ. While I can't say anything has been completely mind-blowing, there's enough here for an early-edition of The Random Rock N' More, the column where I fire off quick one-line updates on a bunch of artists. If you want to dig deeper, a link is provided. As always, this hits on all areas of 'rock' from indie and folk to black metal and grindcore - "Music for Grown-ups" that wouldn't be featured on the homepage of The Rock Father™ site. Everything is fair game. Here's your Random Rock for Tuesday, April 10, 2012.
