It's not the first time that RUSH has been lullabied, but the folks at Rockabye Baby! are kicking off their 2013 release season with a fresh collection entitled LULLABY RENDITIONS OF RUSH. Available today, this collection features a dozen hits by the Canadian rockers, reworked into nursery-friendly jams performed on xylophone, wood blocks, and more... just in time for their forthcoming induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Lullaby maker Rockabye Baby! (for whom I've guest blogged in the past) has announced an October 16, 2012 release date for More Lullaby Renditions of U2, a follow-up to their 2007 collection, Lullaby Renditions of U2.

With their collection of KISS lullabies set for release later this month, the folks at Rockabye Baby! have issued an update with their next collection: LULLABY RENDITIONS OF PRINCE. Yes, the purple-loving performer will be getting the lullaby treatment, complete with "gentle Mellotron, wood blocks and bells." While the exact release date has not been announced, past releases would indicate a late September release. Check out the cover art and tracklisting below!

The folks over at Rockabye Baby! just hit The Rock Father with details on their latest release, Rockabye Baby! Lullaby Renditions of Kiss. Slated for release on August 28th, this new collection features a dozen of Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley and Co.'s greatest hits, stripped down and lullabied. Awhile back, the folks over at Rockabye Baby! approached me to do some guest blogging for them, and being a fan, I took them up on the offer. I've contributed five pieces, the first of which is online today. All five are andecdotal stories, mostly from past adventures that somehow tie-in with the musical exploration that I'm currently sharing with my daughter.
