OLIVIA RODRIGO opened the next chapter of her touring career Friday night in Hartford, Connecticut, launching The Unraveled Tour with the first of two sold-out shows at PeoplesBank Arena.
WOLF ALICE opened the night and will join RODRIGO on select dates throughout the tour.
RODRIGO began the show lying among a field of flowers for “drop dead” before the song exploded into confetti, setting the tone for a two-hour production divided into five acts inspired by the changing seasons.
The set pulled heavily from her third album, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love, including “u + me = <3,” “stupid song,” “maggots for brains,” and “less,” while making room for earlier hits including “good 4 u,” “bad idea right?,” “vampire,” and “drivers license.”
The bigger production swings came without losing the rock-show core.
During “the cure,” RODRIGO moved to the B-stage as rain poured down, dissolving a paper dress to reveal a red lace corseted look underneath. “cigarette smoke” put her center stage with a guitar as smoke and strobes built around the song’s climax, while “honeybee” stripped everything back to RODRIGO at a piano beneath a single spotlight as snow fell around her.
Her all-women band remained at the center of the show throughout.
The Unraveled Tour now spans more than 85 dates across North America, Europe, and the U.K. through spring 2027. Strong demand expanded the original routing with additional dates in Boston, Los Angeles, Brooklyn, Amsterdam, London, Paris, and Barcelona.
The run includes 10 shows each at Barclays Center in Brooklyn and Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, along with 11 nights at The O2 in London. According to the tour announcement, those runs will establish new venue benchmarks in all three cities.
The tour supports you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love, released June 12 via Geffen Records. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, continuing a streak that has seen each of RODRIGO’s first three albums open atop the chart.
The new trek follows The SOUR Tour and the GUTS world tour, which stretched across 95 sold-out shows and drew more than 1.4 million fans.
DEVON AGAIN, DIE SPITZ, GRACE IVES, THE LAST DINNER PARTY, and WOLF ALICE will rotate as special guests on select dates.
For RODRIGO, Hartford offered the first look at a tour designed to go bigger without sanding away the guitars, drama, and intimacy that got her here in the first place.
