THE PRETTY RECKLESS Drops Haunting “Dear God” Video

THE PRETTY RECKLESS is digging deep into the darkness with the new video for “Dear God.”

Directed by George Gallardo Kattah, the clip brings a stark visual edge to the title track from the band’s fifth studio album, Dear God, which arrived June 26 via Fearless Records.

The song finds THE PRETTY RECKLESS leaning into a slower, heavier emotional burn, with frontwoman TAYLOR MOMSEN pushing the track from quiet desperation into full release.

As the track grows, the band lets the tension stretch before breaking into a guitar solo that gives the song room to breathe and burn. The result lands in familiar territory for THE PRETTY RECKLESS: raw, bruised, and built around the kind of emotional honesty that cuts through the noise.

“‘Dear God’ is desperation set to music,” Momsen says. “When life gets that physical, that brutal, you leave your body and start begging something bigger than yourself to pull you out. That space between heaven and hell isn’t a metaphor. It’s somewhere you actually live.”

With “Dear God,” THE PRETTY RECKLESS turns that space into something loud enough to feel.

The age-restricted video can be seen on YouTube.
