We’re well past the halfway mark of the year, but recently, The Rock Father posed a question: “What do you think are the best albums of the year, so far?”
With less than five months left to go, these are my early picks for the 2026 Top 10 Albums list:

- JUNGLE ROT — Cruel Face of War (reviewed at Dead Rhetoric)
- ECTOVOID — In Unreality’s Coffin (reviewed at Dead Rhetoric)
- KREATOR — Krushers of the World (reviewed here)
- PAGANIZER — As Mankind Rots (reviewed at Dead Rhetoric)
Some of these might change by December. Hell, I’d be surprised if they didn’t — I review a lot of records. But for now, these are the records I keep coming back to and spinning again and again.
