THE ROCK FATHERRock Father vs. Rock Father – It’s been 25 weeks since James Zahn and Tom George (read the kick-off story here) began a year-long journey to not only lose weight, but get fit. These two Work-at-Home Dads had let time and their jobs take their toll on their personal well-being. For each week of the journey, we’ve been checking-in to find out how their efforts are paying off. After re-setting last week after a two-week posting hiatus, both men are moving ahead, and today – Sunday, June 22, 2014, both men did their weigh-in, and these are the results…


305jamesStarting Weight: 330 | Last Week: 306 | Current Weight: 305

About Week 25, James states: “Back down another pound, but I still have yet to break the 305 mark. I did another four nights at the gym, and have ramped-up the strength training. As my belly is shrinking, it’s interesting to see my biceps firming up and growing. For the first time since starting this, I can truly say that I feel great. I walk out of the gym with more confidence than ever. Just need to crack that 300 mark.”

About Week 25, Tom states: “I was actually pretty close to even this week but I rounded up. I will take it though. This week was filled with a birthday party and a few too many out to eats. I did a pretty good job of watching what I ate the rest of the week though. I need to ramp up the exercise this week.”

So far, we’re tracking a 25 pound loss by James, and a 23 pound loss by Tom.
