It was two years ago that I first told you about Robozuna – a then-in-development series from ITV that had been added to the Netflix slate of original kids and family programming. While the premiere date has still not been announced (Netflix still lists it as “New: 2018”), we know that there’s a full range of toys coming, and they’ll be arriving in the U.S. via Basic Fun! The initial wave arrives in spring/summer 2019, with more consumer products in the pipeline for fall/winter.

In Robozuna, an orphaned 14-year-old boy, Ariston, and his homemade robot friend, Mangle, attempt to free their oppressed nation from an evil empire and its legion of robot centurions. It’s said to be “filled with epic battles and unpredictable obstacles” as it “tells a story of teamwork and self-discovery through the hardships of finding your way home.”
The first wave of toys that Basic Fun! will be distributing in the U.S. includes 2.5” Battle n’ Sack Combatabots, 5” Battling Feature Robots, a Transporter Vehicle Playset, Role Play items and a 12” Mega Mangle Figurine.
Stay tuned for more info as I have it…
