Barbeque Party by Asmodee
Geared toward ages 4+, Barbeque Party is suitable for the whole family and can be adapted for younger players. Here’s what it’s all about:
“Veggies to grill, and some chicken and hot dogs too! But to win you need 3 of each… Pick a card, it will tell you what you need to grill next… When you pick that card again, it means that it is ready and you need to remove it… BUT… you better be careful, because this friendly barbeque doesn’t like to be tickled… One false move and BOOOMMM and your meal will be late!”
We’ve been playing Barbeque Party here at Rock Father HQ, and Addie loves it. While she’s just under the suggested 4+ age range, she immediately wanted to “play with the food.” Right out of the box, the only “assembly” required is putting little “eye” stickers on each of the food pieces. Other than that, it’s ready to go with the grill, cards, food, and instructions all included.
Play is fun and variable (we’ve been doing the food-matching with the cards), and if you’re curious what kind of excitement can be had when the grill goes “BOOM!”, check out the look on my little ones’ face below…
Barbeque Party is easily stored within it’s own box, making after-play cleanup a breeze.
