EA Previews the Future of STAR WARS Video Games…

This article is more than 9 years old and may not have been updated since our last site redesign. It may contain outdated information or could be missing images.

I clearly need two things: Time, and an Xbox One. As my lonely 360 longs for more playtime, I’ve been longing to get into some new STAR WARS games, something I’ve enjoyed on occasion from THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK on the Atari 2600 (80s), to the excellent SUPER STAR WARS series on SNES (90s) and well-through the prequel eras of Podracing, the first BATTLEFRONT and most recently, Disney Infinity. While I’ve not played EA’s current BATTLEFRONT, it’s on my “to-do” list, especially after seeing where STAR WARS games will be heading over the next few years. From more add-on DLC for BATTLEFRONT including DEATH STAR and BESPIN packs, to different types of gameplay on multiple platforms spanning multiple eras of STAR WARS storytelling, EA and partners including DICE, BioWare, Motive, Visceral Games, Capital Games and Respawn Entertainment are prepping many new adventures in a galaxy far, far away. Check out the E3 reveal video below…

Stay tuned for more news on these as I have it…
