Back in 1988, R.E.M. released their major label debut for Warner Bros. when GREEN hit record store shelves. The album would launch some iconic singles including “Stand,” “Orange Crush,” and “Pop Song 89.” A true classic, Rhino Records recently celebrated the 25th Anniversary of GREEN with an extensive reissue (which I posted about previously).
