When today’s entry in Hasbro’s Force Friday Countdown Calendar came up, my first reaction was: Who the heck is Voolvif Monn? I didn’t recognize this Jed Knight, and most certainly didn’t know that he’d received an action figure as part of the STAR WARS 30th Anniversary Collection back in 2007. Turns out, I had seen him before, though – but in a much different form. Voolvif Monn was seen in the STAR WARS : CLONE WARS animated microseries on Cartoon Network – which we actually have here at Rock Father HQ on DVD. The pre-CGI Clone Wars is not considered “canon” in the STAR WARS timeline at this point, but it was still a lot of fun, and a huge event when it first aired back in 2003.
