STORY LAURIE always hits me with things that could easily be filed under both “Family Music” and “Gardening” here on THE ROCK FATHER, as the New York-based Kindie artist has a habit of combining the two. For today, though, I’ll put this one in the music category, as she’s serving up a FREE DOWNLOAD of her new song, “Who Grew My Soup?” It’s all in celebration of Earth Day (April 22) and the upcoming Farm to Cafeteria Conference (April 16-18, Austin, TX) at which Laurie will be a featured presenter- working with conference-goers to write a song on-the-fly. Stream or Download the song below…
The song was the fruit of one of Laurie’s “Cultivating Connections” workshops with local elementary school students, and was produced by DOG ON FLEAS’ main main Dean Jones.
For more about Laurie, or to learn more about the song (and submit pictures to be a part of the action), check out the “Who Grew My Soup?” page of her official website.
