It’s not Brawndo, but it has electrolytes.
Gatorade introduced its first unflavored water, Gatorade Water, to store shelves across the U.S. this week, extending the brand’s influence into a new category.
Market positioning highlights Gatorade Water’s alkaline nature, boasting a pH level of 7.5 or higher, along with electrolyte infusion for a crisp, refreshing taste. The bottles are crafted from 100% recycled plastic.
Anuj Bhasin, Gatorade’s chief brand officer, emphasized the evolving mindset of today’s athletes, stressing the demand for 24/7 hydration solutions. Bhasin stated, “Gatorade Water is an all-day hydration option for all active people, no matter who they are or how they move, from the leader in sports fuel that they know and trust.”
The launch is supported by a comprehensive marketing initiative dubbed “Always in Motion.” The campaign spotlights influencers in the realm of movement, including renowned dancers and choreographers such as Les Twins, Witney Carson, and Aliya Janell, embodying the fluidity of water in their performances.
Gatorade Water is in stores nationwide, on Amazon, and at Gatorade.com.
Just remember: Don’t use Gatorade Water on your plants. It’s not what they crave.
