In case you haven’t noticed, TRANSFORMERS and MARVEL have both had a massive year. In the you world, one of the benefits is that Hasbro holds the rights to both, and that leads to some interesting crossover opportunities… like MR. POTATO HEAD Mashables. No, Mr. Potato Head has not been licensed for boxed mashed potatoes at your local grocer (though that would be pretty funny – and terrifying), but these Mixable, Mashable Heroes take a cue from the recent success of the Mashers Line (see my THOR and CAPTAIN AMERICAN review here), allowing kids to literally mix-and-match pieces of their favorite figures into new, original creations. For my 2014 Holiday Wish Guide, the Mr. Potato Head Mixable, Mashable Heroes make the cut, with MARVEL and TRANSFORMERS both represented in style!
Back in August, Hasbro sent us a few of these – Mr. Potato Head as Starscream, and a combo pack to make Hulk and Wolverine.
