When LESS THAN JAKE decides to put out a DVD, they don’t just put out a DVD. For ANTHOLOGY, the long-running ska-punk outfit performed six albums in their entirety and filmed the whole thing. As with most ”full album” performances, the LTJ crew tossed in a few bonus track for the crowd, with the end result contained on the first three discs in the ANTHOLOGY set.
HELLO ROCKVIEW (1998), PEZCORE (1995), ANTHEM (2003), BORDERS AND BOUNDARIES (2000), LOSING STREAK (1996), and IN WITH THE OUT CROWD (2006) all make the cut (in that order), while a fourth disc contains assorted and random live footage spanning fourteen years of the band’s career from ’95-’09.
LESS THAN JAKE is perhaps Gainesville, Florida’s most-well-known export, and definitely the safest compared to other notable commodities (we hear Meth is big in Gainesville), and ANTHOLOGY is a great value, too. You can snag the full four-DVD set for under $16 bucks at retailers of class.
