Somewhere in my archives lies a review I did of RIVER RUNS RED, the 1993 debut album from Brooklyn’s LIFE OF AGONY. Now the band is signed with Napalm Records (labelmates to my boys, PRODUCT OF HATE) and are working on prepping their long-overdue new album, A Place Where There’s No More Pain. Slated for release sometime in early 2017, the first taste of new music arrived via Rolling Stone earlier today, and can now be heard in the player below…

After reuniting in 2014, the famed River Runs Red line-up, of vocalist Mina Caputo, guitarist Joey Z, bassist Alan Robert and drummer Sal Abruscato have remained active, inking their deal with Napalm Records, and heading to Europe for a tour that starts in November.
