“The Way It Is” by Bruce Hornsby and the Range was a staple of my youth – a song that lit up the pop charts back in ’86 (I was just 10 at the time) and became part of regular rotation on MTV and the like. Over the decades, it’s taken on new life, Tupac’s “Changes” being a prime example, and now, on its 30th anniversary, the song is reborn once more – still exceptionally timely, but this time performed by UK songstress Molly Warburton and her band.
