This Back to School feature is brought to you in collaboration with pediped footwear.
It seems like the kids just got out of school (and really, they did), and while we’ve had a busy summer that’s been filled with adventure, we’re now staring down back-to-school season. The summer’s seem shorter all the time, and soon the school bell will ring and the kids will be rockin’ the halls once more. This also means that it’s time for back-to-school (BTS) shopping, an experience that can be both fun and daunting for kids and parents alike. BTS shopping is an investment in our kids, and in just a few short years of having little ones in elementary school, we’ve learned the importance and occasional disappointment in what we buy. Shoes are a big part of that investment, especially for families with more than one child. You want your kids to have shoes that are comfortable, healthy, stylish and you want them to last. pediped has a mission of comfort, quality and style – and in that order, and for 2018 they’re a #RockFatherBTS pick!
pediped has many styles for boys and girls, and most pairs are $60 or less. A company that was founded and led by parents who were looking for the best for their kids, pediped has innovative technology in each pair, with features like Memory Foam, Ultra Light Technology and the fantastic Flex Fit System. Select pairs are also machine washable, and they’re also offering a specially-curated selection of vegan shoes. In the video below, I show off some of the new shoes that The Rock Daughters™ will be wearing this fall, along with my Top Five Reasons Why You Should Choose pediped…
If I were to highlight just one feature, it would be the Flex Fit System since we often run into issues with our girls (particularly our oldest) being in-between sizes with a fit that’s not quite right. With the Flex Fit System, each pair of pediped Flex closed-toe shoes comes with an additional 2 millimeter insert to customize the fit of the shoe so it is just right for each child. These inserts can reduce a shoe size by almost half a size. This can extend the length of a shoe by allowing parents to buy one that may be a tad big, but the Flex Fit System brings it down to just right for now, with room to grow for later. When ordering shoes online, simply use the printable size chart from the pediped website to find what’s right for your little ones.
