Review: Disney Princess Pop-Up Magic Cinderella’s Coach Game

Published:

This article is more than 10 years old and may not have been updated since our last site redesign. It may contain outdated information or could be missing images.

Earlier this year, Hasbro Games started rolling out a line of Disney Princess Pop-Up Magic board games, a new spin on some old concepts, but a perfect collection of easy-to-play games that don’t involve a ton of time investment. Aside from the Pop-Up Magic itself (the game boards “pop-up” like a pop-up book), the intriguing and ingeniously-simple feature is that the game series is completely connectible, allowing kids to grow their kingdom through additional, very familiar sets.

The folks at Hasbro had sent us their CINDERELLA’s Coach Game, and with an MSRP of $12.99, it’s a fine entry into the Pop-Up magic world, the 2-player game allowing little ones (and grownups) to play as either Prince Charming or Cinderella, making their way around the game board with an ultimate goal of reaching the ball on time.

Recommended for Ages 3+, the gameplay is simple, fast, and as mentioned before – expandable. Other sets available now include the BIG Magic Castle Game (with Aurora, Snow White, Belle and Ariel), and the TANGLED game with Rapunzel and Flynn Rider. And coming this summer, some familiar faces from Arendelle will enter the mix, with the Pop-Up Magic FROZEN game, which will include Olaf, Anna and Elsa (pre-order now from Entertainment Earth). Check out a preview below…
