My girls are way too young for this, but if my speed-demon/daredevil daughter Addie saw it, she’d probably be off and racing quicker that we could possibly move to stop her. I’m talking about the new URBAN SHREDDER by Hot Wheels and Dynacraft, a $349 vehicle touted as “part motorcycle, part skateboard, part super engine — all beast.” If I were about 12 (or they made an adult version), I’d be all over this thing. The Urban Shredder just started hitting stores this week, and would certainly make a rockin’ gift for kids ages 8-15. You can order one right now from Walmart.com
A product of the Hot Wheels Test Facility, the Urban Shredder features a “spark plate” so that it literally throws sparks as it goes around corners. I’d absolutely love to hit a Cul-de-Sac or two on one of these. The official PR announces that it allows “kids to cruise with style and control, featuring electronic throttle control and precision-tuned handling. The motorized ride-on also includes an adjustable foot/knee deck and a wall charger.“
What do you think of the Urban Shredder?
