All month, my friends at Sprout have been gearing up for Halloween with their ongoing Sprout Halloween Parade, in which kids can march in place in their Halloween costumes and use the “Send to Sprout” App to submit their video to become a part of the user-generated parade. Now, we’re just a week away from when the real treats start rolling on October 28, and the Sunshine Barn takes on a Halloween theme for the Sunny Side Up Show (airing live, 9am-noon ET) and the 24-hour preschool network starts airing some terrific Halloween content. Here’s a preview…
The Sunny Side Up Show Halloween Week (October 28-November 1) will feature the hosts wearing Halloween Costumes and playing dress-up with Chica, while October 31 will feature special, Halloween episodes of Sunny Side Up Show programming, and Chicago Native JUSTIN ROBERTS will stop by to perform “The Princess Wore Pink” from his new album, RECESS (read The Rock Father review here), and his Halloween song, “Trick or Treat” (featured here).
Room on the Broom (6:00 pm ET, October 30): The US premiere of the movie Room on the Broom, based on a popular children’s book about the adventures of a witch and her cat happily flying through the sky on a broomstick, airs just prior to Halloween.
The Chica Show Halloween Episode (Airing October 31): Halloween is Chica’s favorite time of the year, but her indecision on what costume to wear stops her from enjoying all the fun.
For those grownups that will let there Sproutlets go online, Sprout’s Tricks, Clicks and Treats is happening right now at Sproutonline with a ton of fun activities for the whole family.
