With all the coverage I give to STAR WARS, sometimes things still just sort of pop-up here and there, and that’s just what’s happened tonight. The 1980 STAR WARS Christmas Album (no connection to the infamous STAR WARS Holiday Special) has been a rarity in recent years, but one that some folks like myself have acquired in one form or another due to occasional reissues. Now comes word that a French company called L.M.L.R. has prepped one of their “Vinyl Replica” editions of this bizarre record – a CD-sized true replica of the original vinyl CHRISTMAS IN THE STARS album, with everything scaled-down. Set for release on November 27th as an Amazon Exclusive, the CD appears to be a fully-grooved red vinyl.
