I have been singing the praises of Disney XD’s Star Wars Rebels for years, and now, with Gareth Edwards’ Rogue One: A Star Wars Story taking audiences back to a galaxy far, far away – but in a time period just prior to the events of 1977’s Star Wars: A New Hope, there’s even more pieces of the puzzle that are falling into place. In a masterful form, ‘Rebels as been filling the gaps between The Clone Wars and the original trilogy, and with the release of the Season 3 Mid-Season Trailer, we see some new faces to ‘Rebels that will be completely fresh in the minds of those who have just enjoyed Rogue One. A ton of Mandalorians, Saw Gerrara, Mon Mothma, and even some “crazy old hermit” known as “Old Ben” are ready to join the action…
On the next Star Wars Rebels: “The crew returns to Geonosis in search of a missing rebel team sent to investigate suspicious activity there, and they are surprised by what they find. After finding a missing rebel team member, the Ghost crew discovers another surprise on Geonosis, and they work to conceal it from Imperial forces.”
