This Star Wars: The Last Jedi #HolidayWishGuide feature is presented by GameStop & Spin Master in collaboration with The Rock Father™
2017 has been a great year for movies, but now that December is here, the one I’ve been anticipating the most is finally here! Rian Johnson’s STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI is the second chapter of the modern Star Wars Trilogy, picking up the story right where we left off at the close of J.J. Abrams’ STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS back in 2015. With Luke Skywalker back in action as Rey, Finn, Poe Dameron and the crew continue their fight against Kylo Ren, Supreme Leader Snoke and the sinister First Order. Since the release of the original Star Wars back in 1977, The Force has been a fixture in the holiday season for our family, and with a new era of adventures from a galaxy far, far away, we’re always on the hunt for the coolest Star Wars gear, and this year GameStop and ThinkGeek are stepping-up as a one-stop shop for some stellar gifts, many of which are exclusive and available Only @ GameStop!. As an extension of my annual Holiday Wish Guide™, here’s some Rock Father Picks available at GameStop… but that’s not all! Thanks to our friends at Spin Master, we’re giving all of you the chance to win a Star Wars: The Last Jedi Hero Droid BB-8 – one of this year’s hottest Star Wars toys!
Star Wars: The Last Jedi BB-8 Hero Droid (Spin Master): Ever since BB-8 first rolled on stage during Star Wars Celebration a few years back, fans have been enamored by the little droid. At the time, the biggest question was “HOW?,” but in the time since, the technology has become known, and that’s led to a variety of robotic BB-8 replicas in various scales. Now Spin Master is in the game, bringing to life their BB-8 Hero Droid – a toy that wowed audiences at Toy Fair this year, the first to put a near-life-sized (he’s a bit smaller than his on-screen counterpart, but to kids he’s huge) version of the famous Astromech Droid within the reach of kids and families far and wide. Watch the video below to see how little Finley interacts with BB-8 right here at our house!
Standing 16″ tall (19″ if you count the antenna), BB-8 can move smoothly indoors (don’t take the little guy outside) and is capable of realistic interactions just as he does on-film! With three modes of play, Hero Droid BB-8 can be controlled RC-style through an IR remote, engage in a voice recognition mode or do the unique “follow” mode.

Want a chance to win a Hero Droid BB-8? Keep on reading, friends!
Star Wars: Battlefront II (EA): The latest installment of EA’s Battlefront series puts a proper story campaign back into the mix alongside tons of multiplayer action that spans every era of the Star Wars Saga. But now that the game has been out for a little bit, it’s time for some DLC, and this month they’re appropriately adding THE LAST JEDI into the mix with fresh content that ties directly into the latest big screen adventure. Whether you play on Xbox One (as I do), PS4 or PC, you’re gonna want to jump in on this one.
Nerf Rival Apollo XV-700 Mandalorian Edition Blaster & Facemask (Hasbro – Only @ GameStop): When it comes to the Mandalorians, Boba Fett is perhaps their most famous representative – a ruthless bounty hunter who’s been legendary practically since his first appearance in the infamous Star Wars Holiday Special (as a cartoon, no less). Popular as a playable character in EA’s Battlefront games, this tie-in is not for kids. Nerf Rival is what you could call “extreme Nerf,” geared toward players ages 14 and up.
This special edition blaster and mask set features distinct Mandalorian decoration and comes with a fabric Mandalorian insignia patch. Experience intense, head-to-head competition with the precision and power of the NERF RIVAL APOLLO XV-700 blaster, sending foam rounds soaring into the air at a velocity of 100 fps, and featuring easy re-load magazine. Mask boasts a breathable design and elastic band for adjustable fit. Mask is not a protective device. Set includes reusable display box, blaster, face mask, and 7 NERF RIVAL foam rounds.
Star Wars The Black Series 6″ Action Figures (Hasbro): For the past few years, Hasbro has been upping the game with their highly-detailed, ultra-poseable 6″ Black Series action figures. As the collection continues to grow, GameStop has been the go-to source for some of the hottest and most sought-after exclusives, including their “Guardians of Evil” 4-pack which features a Saga-spanning assortment of the most elite guards from The Galactic Republic, The Imperial Empire and The First Order.
A most-appropriate exclusive, the Star Wars The Black Series Battlefront II Inferno Squadron Agent is ripped straight from one of this season’s hottest video games, the above-mentioned Star Wars: Battlefront II!
There’s also a Throne Room edition of Supreme Leader Snoke from Star Wars: The Last Jedi, complete with his massive throne, and GameStop is the only place to get it!
Star Wars Death Star Waffle Maker (ThinkGeek): They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and I have it on good authority that The Empire was all about making sure that their Imperial Stormtroopers were well-fed each and every day. In fact, it’s been said that Kylo Ren and General Hux have continued that tradition, serving their troops Death Star-shaped waffles every morning, a heartfelt tribute and motivator to start the battle each and every day. Now you can have the same meal at home!
Star Wars: The Last Jedi Electronic Porg (Hasbro): Did you know that #PorgNation is a thing? Well, it is, and Porgs are becoming legendary. Since they first started popping up in promotional materials over the past year, these small birds have amassed a cult following, and all we know (as of this writing) is that they’re inhabitants of the island of Ahch-To where Luke has been hiding out for a bit, and that apparently they speak Wookiee, thus befriending Chewbacca. Want a Porg of your own? This is the one to get!
POP! Vinyl Star Wars Bobbleheads (Funko): I think we can safely say that the majority of American households now contain at least one Funko POP! That comes, of course, from my completely unscientific guesstimation, as pretty much everyone we know has about 600 of them (again, rough estimate). What’s cool, though, is that GameStop has hundreds of exclusive POP! figures and bobbleheads available, including one of DJ – the mysterious character played by Benecio Del Toro in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
Monopoly: Star Wars 40th Anniversary Edition (Hasbro Gaming): It’s the classic property trading game, but here it’s been given a retro spin straight out of 1977’s Star Wars: A New Hope! Collect memorable scenes and iconic ships inspired by the movie. Strengthen power and influence over opponents by building Fleets and Bases. Force and Smuggler’s Cargo cards shape players’ destinies in this exciting game. The only player left after everyone else has gone bankrupt wins!
