Oklahoma’s SUGAR FREE ALLSTARS have have a new single on the way, one that’s a perfect song for our household, and likely may hit home for you as well. “My Daddy’s Record Collection” celebrates families getting together to spin some tunes on wax – something that we do right here at Rock Father HQ. A rare Kindie (family music) release for Record Store Day this year, the 7″ vinyl 45 rpm single will be released on April 19th with a launch set to take place at Guestroom Records in OKC.
While I’ve already had the good fortune to be able to hear the new song, those of you that can’t get the vinyl (which will also be available on the SFA website) will be able to snag the download through all the major services later this month. Analog or Digital, totally your choice.
Do you follow THE ROCK FATHER on Instagram? If so, you may have already seen these clips, in which my oldest (Addie) gets to sample a bit of her Daddy’s Record Collection…
