A friend of mine sent me a link to this video yesterday, and without even reading the whole message, I just clicked the link and let YouTube roll in another tab without really watching. Call it “multi-tasking,” but I was really just getting a feel for THE CRAZY CARLS while trying to get through the endless stream of emails in my inbox. For a moment, I forgot what I was listening to and thought I had some FALL OUT BOY going somewhere… a vibe that forced me to pay attention and go back to the start on “Let Me” (Amazon | iTunes), a track that does have some of the FoB groove, but almost with a bit of that “Get Lucky” thing happening.
