Brooklyn-based Children’s Musicians THE POP UPS have released a very cool music video for their new single Box of Crayons. The song comes from their new album, RADIO JUNGLE, which will be available next Tuesday – April 3. You can see the video below, or check it out on YouTube where it’s also featured on the shiny and new Rock Father Channel (subscribe!)

This Friday, THE POP UPS will keep the crayon theme going by launching a coloring contest on their official Facebook page.  Here’s the details:

THE POP UPS CRAYON COLORING CONTEST:
The Pop Ups, are holding a giveaway contest to promote their new album, Radio Jungle. To coincide with the release of their video for the single, “Box of Crayons,” the group would like to showcase their fans’ most creative and imaginative crayon drawings via Facebook, and offer a free track download for all who create and upload a drawing! Plus, the band will send free copies of their new album to 10 lucky fans with the top drawings.

To enter, follow these easy steps:

  • Moms and Dads, upload your child’s crayon drawing to your facebook. Please include your child’s age and first name in the caption of the photo.
  • Tag “The Pop Ups” and the Mom Blog from which you heard about the contest in the drawing
  • After you’ve tagged your picture, send an e-mail to the crayon@thepopups.com to receive a free download of the song “Connect The Stars”
  • On April 6th, 10 lucky winners will receive free downloads of the full Radio Jungle album and have their drawings featured on The Pop Ups website!
