If you’ve been in the toy aisles of late, you might’ve noticed some interestingly-shaped, big-fisted, rubbery little additions to the WWE section in the form of SLAM CITY. I’ve played with them a bit We have a few of them here at HQ, and they’re pretty fun in the sorta slingshot action you can get rolling with them. But the residents of SLAM CITY are a little different – you see, in SLAM CITY, your favorite WWE Superstars have all been forced to get day jobs, and it’s all thanks to a mysterious figure called “The Finisher.” The adventures have been playing out in a series of stop-motion videos produced by WWE and Mattel’s Playground Productions, and after a little break, WWE SLAM CITY has returned with two new episodes that find THE ROCK facing off with “The World’s Strongest Man,” MARK HENRY over something that would make the TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES envious: Pizza.
