This weekend, audiences everywhere have begun discovering Walt Disney Animation Studios' 56th animated feature, MOANA, turning out in record numbers for a big adventure unlike any other. With buzz that began long before the film's release, items from Moana have quickly become must-have gifts for the holiday season, and for kids and collectors alike, a variety of new figures from Funko have taken a spot in my 2016 Holiday Wish Guide, sponsored by Entertainment Earth

Earlier this Fall, I shared with you my review of the PAW Patrol Lookout Climber from The Step2 Company. Living in a house where the Pups of Adventure Bay tend to dominate play, I was pretty excited to learn that Step2 had partnered with Spin Master for this piece. No doubt the biggest PAW Patrol toy made thus far, and one in which kids can put themselves directly into the famed Lookout - the base of operations for Ryder and the Pups, this climber is recommended for kids ages 1½-5, and is available now as a Toys "R" Us Exclusive. I'd pegged this as an early pick for my 2016 Holiday Wish Guide back in September, and now I'm excited to give you a chance to win one! The Step2 Company and THE ROCK FATHER Magazine have teamed-up for a Holiday Wish Guide Giveaway in which one lucky family will receive the PAW Patrol Lookout Climber!

On Friday, November 11, 2016, join The Toy Insider for the #MaistoTECHRC Twitter Party! Five lucky winners will receive a Maisto Tech Cyklone 360, and one grand prize winner will receive a Maisto Tech Rock Crawler 3XL! ChiTAGChicago Toy & Game Week is next week, and as all roads point to the annual Chicago Toy & Game Fair, taking place November 19 & 20 at Navy Pier.  ChiTAG has become a family tradition in which the kids can go hands-on with some of the hottest toys of the holiday season as toy & game makers put on a show at the largest non-hobby Toy & Game Fair that welcomes the public into the fold. As one of the 2016 Play Influencers, I'm pleased to announce a pre-ChiTAG twitter party on Wednesday, November 9, 2016! Brought to you by #ChiTAG (@ChiTAGWeek) and #30SecondMom (@30SecondMom), I'll be co-hosting (@TheRockFather) along with the Toy Queen, Keri Wilmot (@ToyQueen) and Alison Ray (@SoChicLife).

If you look at all the "Hot Toy Lists" that are popping up for 2016 (including my own Holiday Wish Guide), you're no doubt seeing that there's a few items that are across-the-board hits with a lot of play experts. The right toys can help make the holidays magical, and among the companies that know a lot about holiday magic is Hasbro. The folks behind icons like Transformers, My Little Pony, G.I. Joe and Glo-Worm have been making magic for years, and to power that magic, the team at Duracell is always ready, supplying batteries like the ones included with the FurReal Friends Bootsie. One of the hottest toys of 2016 is no doubt the FurReal Friends Torch, My Blazin' Dragon, and the place you can get him (along with the batteries) is Toys "R" Us! Check out Torch & Bootsie in-action in the video below...

Movies always make a great gift, and for the sci-fi action fan on your list, INDEPENDENCE DAY: RESURGENCE is available now on Digital HD, 4K Ultra HD Disc, 3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray and DVD. To celebrate the in-home arrival of the sequel to the 1996 blockbuster hit, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment and THE ROCK FATHER Magazine have teamed-up to give you a shot at winning the Blu-ray 3D + Blu-ray + Digital HD Combo Pack, along with a limited-edition Moon Tug Replica spacecraft!
