Clint Perry & The Boo Hoo Crew have been pretty busy lately. Having just released their new album, SHAKE YOUR PIRATE BOOTY (review here) last month, you might think that they're done with new music for 2012. Not so, as they're celebrating the spooktacular season with a brand-new single called "It's Halloween." You can get it now on iTunes and other digital retailers, but first feel free to stream it in the player below!
I've had my eye on LEGO Monster Fighters for awhile now, despite currently being in Duplo mode here at Rock Father HQ. With a plotline seemingly inspired by THE MONSTER SQUAD (or more likely, the Universal Monsters that inspired it), there's few other toys on the market right now that fit Halloween as perfectly as these. That said, LEGO Monster Fighters are a fitting feature for Day 4 of The Rock Father's 31 Days of Halloween.
Children's Musician DAVID TOBOCMAN is getting into the Halloween Spirit with the release of his new song, "Spooky Stuff." Co-written by his 1st Grade daughter, Zoe (who also sings on the track), it's said to "calm the jitters when things go BUMP." "Spooky Stuff" is available now as a FREE DOWNLOAD in the SoundCloud player below...
The Rock Father's 31 Days of Halloween: Day 3 - If your kids like comic books (or you're thinking about introducing them to the world of comics), then Halloween is a prime time to do so as Diamond Comic Distributors partners with select publishers and retailers for Halloween ComicFest 2012, a first-ever all-ages celebration with FREE Comics, a Costume Contest, and more.
If you're like me, anti-bacterial hand sanitizer is something that is always on-hand and ready to rock. After changing diapers on-the-go, wiping runny noses, shaking hands here and there, or picking the little one up from preschool, I'm whipping out the pocket-sized goodness left and right. What's really cool for all the ghouls this season is that the folks at BATH & BODY WORKS are offering up Halloween Editions of their popular PocketBac Anti-Bacterial Hand Gel. It's perfect for scaring away germs.
Connecticut-based Children's Author, Musician, Teacher, and self-professed "all around cool guy," Ryan SanAngelo has assembled a brand-new collection of family-friendly fright songs for Fall. AUTUMN THEMES AND HALLOWEEN SCREAMS (out now on Little King Press) contains 20 super-short sonic blasts that clock in at a combined 34 minutes.
