Chicago Street Race Weekend is in full effect with the excitement of NASCAR roaring through The Windy City.
This weekend’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Loop 110 and Cup Series Grant Park 165 are bringing big crowds to Chicago to experience the sights, the sounds, and yes, the food.
For those who can’t make it to the city, NASCAR Refuel Tenders & Burgers can bring a little of that track-inspired flavor home.
Launched for the 2022 racing season as a Virtual Dining Concepts (“ghost kitchen”) brand created in partnership with NASCAR with delivery powered by DoorDash, NASCAR Refuel Tenders & Burgers is available at multiple touchpoints not just in Chicagoland, but also select markets across the U.S. for carry-out and delivery.
The menu includes the Talladega Tenders (I can picture Ricky Bobby scarfing down a basket of these) alongside the Refuel Burger, Darlington Hot Chicken Sandwich, Daytona Firecracker, and more. Of course, you can also grab fries and onion rings for some classic American sides.
“Every weekend, fans visit iconic NASCAR tracks across the U.S., experiencing the roar of engines, side-by-side racing, family fun, and the overall spectacle our great sport has to offer,” said Chip Wile, NASCAR Senior Vice President and Chief Track Properties Officer in a statement issued when the NASCAR Refuel concept first launched. “It’s a pleasure to offer our fans NASCAR Refuel, so we can bring a piece of the track experience, our delicious dishes inspired by our entire track portfolio, to them.”
A rep for NASCAR Refuel tells The Rock Father that additional locations are coming soon.
